Finished this book a few days ago – it was also on my list of things I’m “Consuming” (look to the right of this page) – and I had to post something to let you know how great it is.

If you are anything like me – human, have too much to do and have more than one important area in your life – then you should take the small amount of time it takes to read Dr. Cloud’s book “The One Life Solution”.

Practical, pointed and personable (points for the alliteration). Dr. Cloud writes with an openness I find earns him more respect than those who write without any references to their personal growth path.

He writes pointedly on self control, boundaries and communication. Super helpful.

It is a great book to read along with another book of his that I have made a text book for my life – “Integrity”.

Do you, your family and your calling in life a good service and read these books.

Found the 80’s

I found the 80’s and other stuff…in this new OKGo video.

So far I’ve found:

The 80’s (apparently locked in these guy’s heads)
A group of people in a park willing to do very random things
A large bird that has dreams of being famous
One of the best groups around when it comes to making videos that people can’t stop watching…what, you haven’t seen their other one?

This morning I had the pleasure of directing the technical side of our Video Venue service – totally an awesome time. I love it.

In case you hadn’t made it there yet I snapped a couple quick shots to show you what you are missing.

The first is during worship, the second during pastor’s teaching and the last during Gary’s invitation for people to respond to what God wants to do in their lives. It was a really great morning serving with great people for the ultimate cause.

At least my software upgrade will be free…

iOS4 upgrades for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G (with not all features supported), and iPod touch (again with not all features and no first generation) for free on June 21st.
