Got a chance to watch some great tennis last night and today. The Rogers Masters in Canada…where Andy Murray took the number 2 spot in the WORLD last night. A spot that had been on lockdown since 2005. Then today he went on to win the whole thing…those British, so talented yet so pale.

Anyways, here’s the espn video recap of match last night…now if I could just figure out the logic behind their scoring.

I will not go to the upcoming dog days of summer event at our local water park.

So we took the kids to a birthday party at our county park today.  As we entered we saw a sign that said the water park is closing for the season and they are giving dogs the last shot at the water. Humans cannot swim on this day – who would want to I ask?? – so the dogs get to have the big last day.

• First of all, I wouldn’t pay for a dog to go swimming.
• Second, and most important, that’s nasty.

A bunch of dogs – no matter how much of a best friend they are – bring a bunch of nasty stuff with them…add a few thousand gallons of water and you have nasty soup.

Hmm. Now that I think about it, it’s not that much different than random groups of people coming in every day and sharing the same water.  With the spitting, lack of showering, and things kids {and some lazy adults} let out in the pool…Wow. Nasty.  I’m kind of grossed out right now because we went there a few weeks ago.

Am I alone on this one?
