I click and click {repeat} wondering if I’m looking for the perfect song to fit my mood or the song to change my mood…usually not knowing which I’d prefer. And nothing seems right so I click on.
I can’t resist the shuffle setting – the wonder of being offered a random selection from a library I already love…sounds too good be true…so on I click. Maybe the next track will be exactly what I was looking for…nope, try again…

Yes, in Summerville, you have to make snow for your kids to play in…it was actually very real {feeling} though. Poor Aden and Ava, they now think snow comes from a guy holding a giant hose attached to a machine on the back of a truck.
It was so fun though. Inflatable things to play on, a smores pit, hot chocolate and of course sections of snow and even a sledding hill {ok, it’s a slide made of wood, but it was fun}.
This thing is awesome. Think Wacom tablet {I use the 6″x11″} having a baby with a Macbook…a super awesome baby that is…having this baby in my house wouldn’t hurt my feelings.
This week I said goodbye to our beloved minivan. I never thougth I’d say ‘beloved’, but I have to admit I got a little emotional walking away from the thing. The poor van just became too sick to sustain – needed A/C, a transmission and the lining on the roof was coming clean off. Too much $$. So it is. I sold it for parts to a local mechanic.
This is just my little tribute to the van that we procured a month before our third child was born because our little car wasn’t big enough to handle the car seats and bags. The little van that was my first real purchase of a newish vehicle. The van that became ‘the silver bullet’ over the hand held radios in D.C. a few years back. The little van that was paid off over a year ago now – and then promptly tanked. Oh well.
Anything that is attached to my family has strings to pull on my emotions. Even this crazy little van.
So goodbye van. We’ll miss you – kind of. You’ve been good to us, except when you cost us a bunch of money…
It kind of looks like the rays of sun are angels coming to bring it home. Ok, maybe not.
Apparently I’m supposed to update this thing every once and a while. Sorry.
The short story is:
The family is good – Amy is incredible, the kids are getting better all the time and last night we had a killer game of hide and go seek…
Transit is back, we are moving into our third week this year and things are going very well.
The Video Venue is up and running – coming into our second week strong.
It’s cold. I don’t like it too much.
So there you go. Now I can post new thoughts without feeling like I’m leaving out the past few weeks.
